funding a phase is the signal that work can begin. when you release funds into a phase, your Contractor is cleared to issue subcontracts, mobilize their team, and start building. you control the pace — fund one phase at a time, or several at once.
the moment you fund a phase, the RAILS activate and the team moves.
how to fund a phase:
1. open the phase from your project page.
2. tap “fund phase”. the amount defaults to the full phase budget.
3. approve the transfer on your mobile device.
4. funds move into the phase wallet. your Contractor is notified and work begins.
💡 if a change order later increases the phase budget, you'll fund the difference with a second transfer.
