O4 - closeout & archive

when every phase is complete and you're satisfied with the finished project, you initiate closeout. this is the final chapter — it freezes the project, returns any surplus funds in the project wallet to you, and archives everything for your records.

closeout (no Lender)

how to close out:

1.   confirm that every phase is complete and all invoices are settled.

2.   from the project page, tap close project and confirm.

3.   any surplus funds in the project wallet return to your user wallet automatically.

4.   the project is archived. all history and documents remain accessible — nothing is deleted.

⚠️  once closed, a project cannot be reopened. if work remains, keep it active until everything is done

closeout (with a Lender)

on Lender-funded projects, your Lender holds the final sign-off. the process is the same on your end — once you initiate closeout, your Lender is notified to review and approve releasing the surplus funds to the Owner. the project archives automatically once they confirm.

project archives

every closed project lives in your archive — fully searchable, fully intact. phase history, transfer records, contracts, invoices, change orders, and documents are all preserved exactly as they were. your project wallet is a permanent, time-stamped record of everything that happened on the job. this is the paper trail that used to take months to reconstruct — now it's always there, always complete.
